My Thoughts

Whenever we come to the end of a century, history shows signs of anticipated turmoil. Considering that the Mayan and Egyptian calendars, written way back then, only date to the year 2000 a.d., we can see why a lot of people, historians and archaeologists alike, are concerned. Way back then, they had to stop somewhere. They couldn’t go on into infinity. People take this as a sign, that the ancients knew something that we don't.

Another reason people fear the new millenium, is to consider all the Marian appearances, where the Blessed Mother warns of the impending chastisement and tribulations, and the fact that Lucifer was given the twentieth century in which to wreak havoc on the morality of mankind. Well, you have to admit that morality has definitely been tossed aside, and goodness is no longer cool. Evil is now cool. What’s right is wrong, and what’s wrong is right…

Abortion is a law now. A woman’s right to choose whether she wants to destroy her child or not. I thank God I’ve never had to choose. I always imagine the children we bear will grow up to improve the world somehow, via our guidance, because they are a gift to us and the world, from God. How we raise them is a test as to how we handle what God gives us.

Matthew 25:14...

Once there was a man who was about to leave home on a trip; he called his servants and put them in charge of his property. He gave to each one accordinng to his ability: to one he gave three talents, to another he gave two, and to another he gave one. Then he left on his trip. The servant who had received the three talents went at once and invested them, tripling the investment. In the same way, the servant who had received two, put the talents in the bank and doubled the investment. But the servant who had received one, went off, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master's talents.

After a long time, the master of those servants came back and settled accounts with them. The servant who had received the three talents came in and handed over the talents. "You gave me three talents, sir", he said. "Look! Here I tripled the talents for you." "Well done, you good and faithful servant!" said his master. "You have been faithful in managing small amounts, so I will put you in charge of large amounts. Come on in and share my happiness!" Then the servant who had been given two talents came in and said, "You gave me two talents, sir. Look! Here are another two I earned for you." "Well done, you good and faithful servant!" said his master. "You have been faithful in managing small amounts, so I will put you in charge of large amounts. Come on in and share my happiness!" Then the servant who had received one talent came in and said, "Sir, I know you are a hard man; you reap harvests where you did not plant, and you gather crops where you did not scatter seed. I was afraid, so I went off and hid your talent in the ground. Look! Here is what belongs to you." "You bad and lazy servant!" his master said. "You knew, did you, that I reap harvests where I did not plant, and gather crops where I did not scatter seed? Well, then, you should have deposited my talent in the bank, and I would have received it all back with interest when I returned. Now, take the talent away from him and give it to the one who has ten thousand. For to every person who has something, even more will be given, and he will have more than enough; but the person who has nothing, even the little that he has will be taken away from him. As for this useless servant, throw him outside in the darkness; there he will cry and gnash his teeth." This parable pertains to all the gifts that God gives us. These are not permanent gifts. We are given these gifts and talents for safekeeping. Whether these gifts are our children, or our talents, or high places where we might influence for the greater good. If God gives us a talent, and we return to Him giving Him back exactly what He has given to us, then, we've done nothing with the talent God gave us, but, if we help others with these talents, and enlighten and influence people for the greater good of the world, then we have invested those talents wisely. Selfishness is never a good thing...

Then there’s the issue of prayer in school. There’s a little story I heard where two little girls are sitting outside the school in Littleton, Colorado, after the shootings. One little girl says to the other little girl, "how could God let this happen"? The other little girl answers, "didn’t you hear, they don’t let God in the schools anymore"…Sad, but true…However, we can pray silently.

Yes, morality has been tossed to the wayside. It seems that Lucifer is spinning up his bag of dirty tricks everywhere.

We, as Christians, can only prepare for what is to come. First, we must keep our eyes on Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the light. He will lead us. If your soul is not prepared, I suggest you prepare it by repenting now. It’s not easy saying, "I’m sorry". You must be truly sorry, or else it doesn’t count. Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit. Invite Him in…"Ask and you shall receive"…

Next, Our Lady gave these words to a mystic; "The time has come for you to prepare for what is to come. You need blessed candles, (candles blessed by an ordained minister), holy water and a small supply of tinned food and bottled water. Place a wooden cross over your front door".

I’ve read two books which relate to this. One is "Thunder of Justice" and the other, "The Final Hour". I purchased both in a Catholic book store. These books refer to the three days of darkness which will evidentally occur during or after the chastisement. These books indicate from the Marian appearances all over the world, that we must prepare for the end times, by supplying ourselves now with Blessed candles and matches, holy water, holy oil, the pictures of the sacred heart and the immaculate heart, a crucifix, an image of St. Michael the Archangel, a rosary, a scapular, (especially the brown scapular), a holy bible, St. Benedict medal, and blessed grapes. It was also mentioned to have some sort of window covers, shades, blinds, or drapes, with which to shut out the darkness. It said that the blessed candle will not burn out, even if it’s just a stub, it’ll continue to provide light. The crosses over your doors and windows, also will keep evil out and also to show that you are a christian so the angel of darkness will passover your door.

The point is, we have no idea what the future holds, whether the world as we know it will come to an end, or whether our personal time will run out. Whatever the situation, it is a good idea to repent, for the day of the Lord is at hand...

I’ll add to this often. Please bookmark this site and return, if not for the news, then for the prayers.
